Deputy Glenn Grove

Died - September 24, 1976

Deputy Grove was assisting with a search warrant for narcotics.  While at the residence he was given a cup of coffee which contained LSD (potentially lethal amount of LSD) which caused severe medical ramifications.  It was unclear whether someone at the residence intentionally put the LSD in the coffee or if it was in the coffee grounds kept in the cupboard.  Deputy Grove immediately became ill, was hospitalized and never recovered.  He suffered heart and other problems directly related to the consumption of LSD.
