Police Chief George Ryti

Died - September 16, 1977

Chief Ryti heard a call broadcasted of a drunk driver driving without headlights.  As he was responding to the area he was broadsided by this vehicle.  Chief Ryti was seriously injured in a car accident on December 26, 1969 and died from his injuries on September 16, 1977.
