| John F. Herzog died on 2-18-1928. On 2-16-1928 Officer Herzog was on duty walking to meet the passengers from the train. He slipped on some ice and fell against a fire hydrant breaking his left arm and several ribs. He completed his shift and returned home where he collapsed. He was taken to the hospital where he died two days later of pneumonia as a result of injuries from the fall. Death certificate confirms death result from fall. |
